more of the kids

It didn't take Madi long to figure out how to get on the bar by herself and hang upside down! She loves that she can do this by herself.

Elliot found his reflection in the mirror...he just realized this was here.

Bath time...

Madi wanted to help comb his hair after bath and then posed for this cute picture! I love it!

the frog

Mr. Napper found the kids a frog...they thought that was pretty cool!

We went over to Angie's the other day to let the kids hang out...here are some shots from that day.

Guess what we built...

Jonathan's parents took the kids to Frederick Meijer and swimming for the day, and my parents came over to help us on our "work" day! Amazing what you can get done with only 1 kid! I would have never said that when it was just Madi! :) But we decided to surprise the kids with a swingset.

It seemed to go up pretty easy for the guys...and no extra trips to home depot! Wow...I'm impressed!

Here they are enjoying it!

Mom and I worked on fixing Madi's blanket...its the one I made her when she was born. She won't let me make her a new one so we had to somehow fix the old one that was pretty torn to shreds...but I think we managed to salvage enough for Madi's approval...thank you mom!!!

More pool time...

The only shade we could fine for Elliot is under the deck..but he doesn't seem to mind!

Vacation Bible School

Madi went again this year with Spencer and Brittyn to Vacation Bible School at their church. She loved it! She was so excited to have us come see her on the last day. Last year she told me I was not allowed to come...so I was very excited that this year she couldn't wait for us to see what she had learned.

sidewalk chalk

Jon decided to cool off after a long morning in the heat with the kids...they thought this was great that dad would go right in their pool with his clothes on!

We've been spending a lot of time outside...the kids love to have me draw on the sidewalk...here is some of our artwork!

Of course..Jon added the block I...go figure!

So I came right back and claimed Elliot...I made sure his had the block M! Go Blue!

4th of july parade

On the 4th we went to the Cascade Parade with our neighbors. This was a blast. Our neighbor Jeff was wonderful! He's a fireman and let the kids ride in the Suburban with him in the parade. The kids thought this was the best. They also got to tour the fire trucks and Isaac even got to dress like a real fireman (these photos will come later....). But overall it was a blast. The kids were exhausted by the end and didn't want to leave. Can't wait for next year!

Elliots view of the parade!

Very happy!

They all had fun racing each other on these inflatibles.

Here we are watching the fireman get dunked in the dunk tank...each of the kids gave it a try.
Here's our friend Mike (this is the fireman the kids tried to dunk!) They thought this was pretty cool!

We ended the night watching fireworks on the front lawn....we can see 5 or 6 different city fireworks! It's great!!
