this is blurry...but you get the idea...she couldn't wait to try it out!

Madi's Birthday - Peuler Style!

Madi kept asking to go swimming at Aunt Dana's for her birthday so we headed on over to the Conklins to celebrate Madi, Mason & Papa around the pool! It was a beautiful day for swimming! Here is Mason with his Veggie Tales cake!

Here is Madi after she opened her "American Girl" Doll...honestly she loves it...:) It's not authentic but a great deal (Meijer outlet of course!). She doesn't care at all...she just loves it that her and Brittyn can play dolls together!
Brittyn even bought Madi a matching outfit for their dolls!
Here was her cake - Gabriella from High School Musical of course!

now time for swimming!

Landscaping!

This spring we decided to work on our front yard landscaping! Over a couple of weeks we visited nurseries and got ideas on what we wanted out front. Then Jon headed out bright and early memorial weekend to get the plants out at west olive nursery! What a great place to go for deal! The kids enjoyed lunch outside with some friends - which they loved!

the kids even got to help.

We called this the loading dock and the kids loved it that we let them fill the wheel barrel with dirt!

The biggest/hardest part of the whole project was the rocks! A couple of the rocks we bought weighed 700 lbs each! Wow! Jon had to drill one of them and then use a sledge hammer to break it in two...it all worked out! We inlisted several family members and neighbors for help on moving these! Thanks guys!

No we just need to wait several years for the plants to mature! :)

Its so fun to have some plants and color out front! Maybe next year we'll work our way around the side of the house! :)

Field Day

I can't believe my little girl is done with Kindergarten! It went way too fast! It's amazing to think of how much she has learned in just this past year. Here are some shots from field day!

I couldn't resist taking a picture of her and Collin...in case you didn't know...she was quite "smitten" with him all year! She even sent him a love note once! So it was fun to take a picture of them when they sat next to each other!

The girls! These were some of the friends she made!

Memorial Day with the Peulers

On Memorial day the Peuler Clan came over for a grill out! Here are the kiddos all ready to eat!

Here are the "triplets" all lined up in thier high chairs!
Can't forget the tractor rides!
Then of course what Peuler gathering is not complete without a trophy presentation! This was our first year trying to guess the American Idol winner! Poor Kevin ended up in last...
and mom happily won the first ever Idol Trophy!

Binder Park Zoo

Memorial Weekend the Clark Family headed to binder park! It was so much fun! the kids had a blast. As we left Madi found a map and told me - " Mom, next time we need to find a map first so we know where we're going!" The planner in her didn't like that we just aimlessly walked through the zoo! Wonder where she got that! :)

Isaac thought this dinosaur was cool!

El & Grandma! Can you hear him saying - eeeh?

Good shot of 5 of the 6 grandkids...too bad Ali couldn't make it.

Nice face Elliot!

Too cute!
