Doc Visit

Well we took Elliot in today...we found out he has some Excema along with the baby acne. So nothing too bad...just making sure it wasn't anything more than that. He has his first cold too and was running a little bit of a temp last night so it was good to go get him checked. He's really been itching at his face and is starting to scratch it open...so hopefully the hydrocortisone will help that.

We did make a new poll on the blog...guessing his weight! We'll see how many of you can get it correct! He's 6 weeks old and was 8 lbs 12 oz when he was born...

Bath time

Well Elliot sure loves the water. We've started giving him baths late in the evening and he tends to pass out afterward and not wake up till 3 am...thats great for me!! We'll see how long this trend lasts! He's been doing great to do this every other night to sleep real long the first stretch of the night..we'll see if we can get 2 nights in a row where he goes 6-7 hrs between feedings. I can only hope!!

During his bath tonight he just put his mouth right up to the faucet and started drinking@! Silly boy!!

Visiting Caleb.

Well we visiting the new baby Caleb at the hospital tonight. Of course Madi had to hold him!! She loves all these babies...even though there are a lot of boys! As you can see Elliot is healthy "little" boy! He looks so big next to Caleb....Makes sense.....he is about twice his size!

Literacy Festival

Madi's preschool had their version of a carnival last night. We took the kids and they loved it...basically every room has some type of craft or activity that focuses on some type of literacy (like rhyming, or creating their own book, etc). They even had a "cookie walk". When the music stopped she drew a letter and if you were standing on that letter you got a cookie!

Isaac thought it was cool the football players were there to read books to them. He just picked up a ball and started throwing it at them....good thing they were lookin!

The musica lady was there...Madi loved listening to her songs.

The Dentist!

Well it was time to go to the Dentist! This was Isaac's first time. Madi was so sweet...she wanted to go first to show Isaac how it all was going to go. She sat right in the chair (usually she's laying on me) and smiled through the whole thing. It was so sweet. Isaac watched so intently! He couldn't wait for his turn. When it was his turn he sat so still- I had to double check to make sure that was Isaac in the chair!! My child never sits that still. They then both did great while I got my teeth cleaned. I could not have asked for my kids to act any better!!

Elliot stayed with Grandma Clark...she was so excited to have time with him all by herself. I'm glad the morning went so well!

Afterward they picked their prizes..go figure..we get their teeth cleaned and they are obessed with ugly teeth!

I couldn't get him to do it again....oh well...eyes closed its still fun!

Easter!

Here we are celebrating at the Clarks! I don't know what was so interesting but Elliot sure had all their attention! I think he was making silly faces! That morning in church he was smiling and trying to peek through his one eye (the other still seals shut a lot because of the blocked tear duct). It was so cute to see him smiling and peeking..all during the sermon which I was very distracted by (Elliot that is)...but I wanted so badly to take out my camera and capture those smiles...but decided I best not.

Here are the 3 kids all dressed up for Easter...Elliot was very hungry and didn't want his picture taken as you can see...

The kids did an Easter Egg hunt at The Clarks....Madi, Isaac and Brianne did the finding and the rest of us did the hiding...it was fun!

too cute!

Next we went to the Peulers. Papa told her it would cost her money to have him make his "ducky" noises again...so she asked me for some...I said all I have is pennies...so she got Papa's wallet out and found his money. What was funny was Papa kept trading her 4 one dollar bills for her 1 twenty dollar bill...she hasn't quite got the understanding of which one is more...she just things the more pieces you have the more money it is....won't be long!

Snuggling with Papa!

Last week we got a chance to get out of the house and went to visit my parents. It was a fun to watch the kids just snuggle up with papa. Madi especially....she just spent lots of time on Papa's lap...then after awhile she went and sat with Grandma....I love to see that!

Papa also does a pretty good duck impression...the kids found it hilarious!

Talking with Daddy!

What do you think is going through his head right now....Elliot that is.

Detroit Fan!

So we thought we'd get him started early on rooting for the Tigers! Uncle Chads hat is still a little big....but he'll grow into it! Isn't that just silly looking! If you look close...he is sitting on Aunt Dana's belly! Guess his cousin didn't mind sharing his/her mama!

Visiting Dads Work!

We took some time to show off Elliot at Jon's work! Isaac loved wearing his construction had and Madi loved drawing all over his papers!

The boys!

Aren't they just precious!!! The snuggled right up to each other!

Time with the Grandparents!

While we were at the hospital the kids had fun with the Grandparents!! Here they are washing babies in the sink with Papa! I think they told Papa - "Mom and Dad ALWAYS let us do this!" Funny how those lines just seem to flow from their mouths!

Here they are playing in the kitchen that that built with Grandma Clark. Very creative! They made a washer, dryer, microwave and even made chocolate chip cookies out of cardboard! They loved it!

I don't know how thrilled he was about this ride....guess it wasn't exciting enough for him!

loved the race cars with dad!

Almost bedtime!

Well Angie and Kevin had their baby...he's so cute!!! We went to meet Easton Michael! He came into this world very fast. Angie's water broke around 7 and by 10:20 he was here....no time for an epidural. We're just happy both mom and baby are doing well! Here are some pictures!

It will be so fun to have two boys so close in age! Just 2 weeks apart.

Trip to see Aunt G & Uncle Kevin

So we decided to take a night and get out for a bit...well it was only a 12 min ride to Aunt G's....how do you think it went?

Needless to say....Elliot cried almost the whole way! The kids still aren't used to the crying.

sledding with the dads!

Jon & Chris took the kids out to play in the snow. They were out there for about 2.5 hours. I don't know who had more fun...the adults or the kids! They built this huge snowman....and forts....and then went sledding. The kids will remember this day forever! They were so excited! Go Dads!
