{Clark Cottage!}

As soon as we got home from the Peuler Cottage...we had one day to unpack and repack to head with the Clarks! The Clarks have come to this cottage for over 15 years...I'm not even sure the exact number but its been a wonderful tradition they have kept! Here are some of the highlights!

Elliot on the fridge...

Silly bean!

Madi by the water...much warmer here!

Els...

Isaac

I love how those 3 shots turned out...we had 2 very sunny days! The water was a little cold but it didn't matter!
They had fun digging lots of trenches & just messing around in the sand!

taking walks to whiskey creek!

Madi jumped infront of me just as I took this...we never get shots of Ruth and I because we're always the ones with the camera!

"early" morning games with Austin!

Elliot decided to sit on the mermaid tail they were making for Brianne!

I'm surprised I don't have more videos like this one...they just love to swing Isaac!

Overall it was a blast! Love family time! We left Sunday night and the kids got to stay up till Tuesday...they got to do so many fun things with Papa and Grandma! They came home all smiles and with lots of stories!

{Peuler Cottage - part 2!}

Okay....so after we've been together for a little while we get a little silly! One night everyone decided we should see who could use their feet to get a pair of underwear on their head! So of course we all had to try. The boys were discussing one day how they all flip their underwear off and into the laundry every night when they get ready for bed...I know TMI...but its just to funny!
For those of you who need a visual...check out dad...
Resting it on the foot to start.
Missed the first time! :)
Now it's Chad's turn...
Chad with the nice dive for the save!
So then we let mom try....check out this video...sorry mom...it was just too funny! I know I missed the beginning but I love when she misses and just collapses! and yes...thats my annoying laugh! I'm sure that will get mocked by someone!

Here was mom's second attempt! A little better...

Well at least we had some good laughs!!!

{Peuler Cottage!}

Here we are in Baldwin for a week with the Peulers! Loved it! Even though it was rainy and cold for 4 of the 7 days...it was still great to be with family!

Sitting on the dock with dad!

Now this is only our 2nd time renting a cottage as a family... we are now 2 for 2 with some things. I guess when we rent a cottage for a week it needs to include a visit from the sheriff and a snake! No tickets this time...but you had to document the adventure!!!
snake - outside the cottage this time! If you never heard the story of the snake at the last cottage just ask...we found that one in the stove!

cottage life!

a night with the slip n slide...I think it took more time to set it up and get hoses to it than the kids actually played on it! Oh well!

two men & a truck!

Now this was funny...it reminded me (Kelly) of my youth...I had told Madi once about a time my dad fell asleep and we painted his toe nails while he slept...she of course thought this would be fun! She saw Papa asleep ( not really but he was a good sport!) on the couch and found some nail polish to do his toes....it was so not on his nails! Like he wouldn't feel her grabbing his foot like that!

they thought they were so sneaky!

the dingy....Chad & Kevin have a good story about that!
fishing off the dock

windy, cold boat ride! but they didn't seem to care

So when you have 4 days of cold and rain you need to get out...so what do we do...drive 45 mins for a McDonald's playland! Yikes! The kids didn't care! The closest city was Ludington so 2 days in a row we headed there for a playland, children's museum, and AJ's fun park!

Madi & Mason up high!

after bowling!

the museum

then of course you have to go for ice cream on vacation!

So silly!

Overall it was great! The kids had so much fun with their cousins and family! Great memories I hope they never forget!

Neighbor Night!

Here we are in the front yard after dinner! Most nights you can walk outside and there are lots of kids out there to play with! Recently the kids have made a new friend Alex! If you can't tell by those smiles....we love our neighbors!!

Hiding under the pool...

popsickles!
