Libby Lu!

Well Madi and I headed to LIbby Lu this morning! Wow..thats a lot of pink in there! Elliot was not sure about all that! Madi had gotten a gift card from Aunt G for her birthday..so off we went. She walked around all day yesterday with their brochure telling everyone which hairdo and "Accessory" she was going to do! I finally convinced her to not have Hannah Hair..it would be too much like her own..so she finally agreed to this updo...I think she loves it.

The kids cracks me up...I think she has my rythmn..or lack there of! I could not believe how all her shyness went away..even infront of the entire store...she didn't care...As long as she got to dance to Hannah Montana! Go Figure!

Here we are at the Clarks on Sunday. Brianne was playing with Elliot...if you just clap for him he gets so excited! She was having funning playing with him.

Soccer!

So we signed Madi up for Soccer. She is really excited. Its just with the Y but it should be fun. Hopefully she'll learn a lot and enjoy it. So we went out to buy her some shin guards..guess what color she picked? Pink...go figure. Then we got Isaac a pair so he wouldn't feel left out and could wear them in the yard when they all practice. Jon's very excited of course. He's been researching different fun drills to do with her....we'll see if she'll try them!

Random acts of Kindness!

This was my lucky day. I was busy trying to clean and get a bunch of things done around the house. While I was working on something else Madi came to get me. she wanted to show me something she did. So I went down and she had folded all her laundry! I was so shocked! She had it all organized just how I do it! Go Madi Go! She got lots of lovin for that! She was so proud...I love that smile. On a side note...yes she is still in her Jami's and yes...they don't match. She gets that from her mother...I never wear Jami's that match. It's my trade mark! Drives Jon nuts!

Okay...what kid loves grass...both my other ones hated to be put on the grass. Elliot...loves it. He just plays with it and loves rolling around on it....Did you notice he's sitting all by himsleft now?

New game...I made a "board game" out of chalk. They would roll the die and move around the board and have to do what the square said to do (ie: run around the house, abc's, bear walk, etc). The kids loved it...it kept them entertained for 2 days straight! Yeah for us!

Yard Fest Winning Throw!

Yard Fest!

This year we hosted the second annual yard fest! It was great to get my cousins on my moms side together for a night of fun! Beth & Rod were missed...maybe next year!

We grilled yummy shish kabobs!

Let the games begin!! The first event was blindfolded maze. The neighbors were kind enought to allow us to use their driveway so no one could get any peeks in during dinner! Thank you Browns!

Marty & Dana were partners for this one... getting their game face on!

Shel & Kevin were partners as well....they ended up with the best time for this event! Go team!

After the maze we had a water balloon toss. The last event was an obstacle course.

The final scores...a three way tie for first.

I didn't even hit the target. So I took third!

then we had a trophy for biggest splash...during the water balloon toss Dana's exploded pretty good all over her.

After all the fun outdoors we headed in for some POP 5!
