Winter Fun

Here are a few other things we did over the winter!

A little remodeling of the basement! Jon was busy working on making a storage room and bedroom in the basement! The storage room is now complete and the bedroom is framed out! I'll have to get more pictures of the progress soon!

Red Wings!

I had bought Jon tickets to the Red Wings game for his birthday! The tickets weren't until February...but he was very excited to go to his first game at the Joe! I enjoyed it too! The only bad part was we got a flat tire on the way home from Detroit! Luckily we were able to inflate it long enough to drive back. Here are a few shots from the game! Go Wings!

Intergenerational Dinner

So we had this great idea to host an intergenerational dinner at church with our young marrieds class we teach. For some reason my pictures from that night are all blurry....but our friends tooks some great shots. You can check them out here:

Overall it was just a great night of mingling and getting to know other couples at church! Can't wait to try and make this an annual thing!

Over Christmas break, Jon & My dad painted Madi's room! She was so excited about it!

We had fun taking the kids roller skating for the first time. I was amazed at how well Elliot did. Being only 3 he just got right out there and took off! So much fun!

We had some help from a neighbor who works there...huge help! She gave us some really great tips about the skates and advice for the kiddos!
