I think its obvious which team he prefers!
He was just crying so hard when he wore that Illinois shirt...I would too. Then he threw up all over it. In contrast he slept so peacefully when wearing his U of M shirt. I think this tells the whole story! Go Blue!

Who's Who?
Well they all look alike, I can see parts and pieces of each in Elliot. We'll have to wait and see if he looks more like Madison or Isaac.

Birth Announcement
If you want to see Elliots birth announcement and didn't get it in an email or in the mail...let me know and I can email it to you! We're not going to post the exact one just for safety reasons. It displays too much info. Hopefully the announcements will go out in the mail Saturday or Monday! We are only sending them to family mostly so if you wanted one but did not get one just let me know and I'd be happy to send it to you. I will post one on my work blog soon but the information will not be his. Thanks!

More Family Photos
Well I couldn't resist taking some more pictures today! I wanted to get some of the 3 kids together and was very happy with how they turned out. I love having these pictures! Hope you enjoy!
A little update on things here. I feel very good after the surgery and am moving around pretty good this time. They did my stitches differently since the incision opened up last time and it has made a huge difference! Thank you Dr! Madi has done a 180 turn around since the hospital. Her first reaction was hard but the next day she called Jonathan and had a ton of questions for him. She asked mostly how I was doing and if I was still sick, if I had wires still in me, what did my doctor say about how I was doing....etc. They talked for a good 20 mins and after she got all her questions answered she was ready to come up and see baby Elliot. Since that time she has been wonderful. We joke mostly that she is the "baby hog." She is always asking to hold Elliot and constantly wants her picture taken when she does! Its too cute! She has been very happy and I think that really shows in the pictures below. She seems to really light up when she's holding him. She got to go back to school today and show off all her pictures. I made her a litte brag book to have as her own and she was very pumped.
Isaac has now been the one to have some hard time adjusting. Mostly we've been seeing him act frustrated and will rebel in many ways towards us. I know its normal and he has a harder time verbalizing his frustrations...but at times its hard to watch him get so upset over the little things. You can pray for patience as we work with him during this adjustment. It has been a very noticeable change in him and hopefully this will be short lived. It's been really good to have Jon home all week to work through this together as a family.
That gives you a little update on things here. We did go out for awhile yesterday. Elliot had a doctors check to see if the jaundice had climbed any higher but the doctor thought it was still within a normal range and working out of his system naturally. He was already back up to 9 lbs so he's eating well! We then stopped at the Library. It was good to get out for a little while.
Here are the photos we took today.

We're Home!
Mom and Elliot arrived home yesterday @ 4pm. It is good to be home as a family, all five of us! As you can see from the photos, Madi has had a big change of heart and insists that she hold him at all times unless he is attached to Mom, if you catch my drift! The last hurdle is getting Naiya to understand that the kids are allowed to be near Elliot as she has quickly come to his defense since he has arrived home. By the way Grandma, Naiya isn't really as close to Elliot as she appears, honest! Thank you for all the prayers! We feel blessed to have everyone home, healthy and safe.

baby photo shoot
Well I decided to have some fun photographing Elliot while Jon went to work today for awhile. Jon did get a chance to stop by for lunch so that was nice. Here are some closeups of our new baby boy!

More Hospital Pictures
Here are some new pictures from the hospital. We're all still doing good. I'm up moving around a lot more. Looks like we'll be heading home on Friday. The kids were up yesterday and did wonderful. They were so excited because Grandma and Grandpa took them shopping and let them pick out their own presents for the baby. Madi got Elliot a onsie that says - Automatic Sprinkler! It was too perfect! Madi didn't know that as soon as he came out of my belly he was peeing! He went like 4 times in his first 1 min out of my belly. It was all the talk of the OR! It was so good to see Madi holding Elliot and all smiles today. She called Jonathan this morning and had tons of questions about how mom was doing. I think she was really having a hard time with mom being sick and having all these wires coming from her. So when she heard I was all better she was very excited.
First Family Photo!
Snuggling with Daddy!
I love this picture...this is the first day when Madi was still figuring things out.
Isaac was so easy going...he just ran around the room mostly! We had to watch what or who he'd jump on. We'll have to keep our eye on him for sure...he already tried to poke Elliots eye!
