Every year our church sets aside one day to serve in t community. Our small group has participated the last few years and we always try to get the kids involved in our day of service. This year we helped clean up the paths around church that will be used for the Grand Rapids Mud Run in August. We loved that this was the project we could help with because our kids are looking forward to participating in the Mud Run this year. It was fun for us to show them all the work that goes on behind the scenes to put on a huge event like the Mud Run. After we finished with all the trails Madi & her friend Jaedon gave it a trial run! They are very excited to run their first race in August.
